Review on Caltric Carburetor for Honda TRX300 Fourtrax 300 (1988-2000) - Compatible Replacement by Bruce Garner

This carburetor looked great but did not fit my choke cable. I think Honda changed the throttle body design around 1993. Older carburetors use a smaller choke. I tried to get it working but couldn't. Shame as the rest of the carb looked like it would fill a ticket! Then on top of that I was told the restocking fee would be $4.62 but it ended up being about 3 times more. So overall it was a very disappointing experience for me. Oh, and yes, the carburetor I wanted to replace is original, I know this because I bought it brand new (four wheel) in August '89. He was one of the first. 5 90's models are sent to the Honda dealer here.
