I am often surprised by some products sold that could be MUCH better with very simple repairs. A simple rule of thumb for a product developer is to really try the product you are SELLING. I don't think anyone in this company has actually bothered to INSTALL any of these in their personal buildings or garages. If they did, they would find it almost impossible to insert a heavy wood screw into the mounting plate because it would be blocked by the spool. All they have to do is add mounting tabs to the panel and let go. So if you're planning on lagging or using screws for attachment, think again, that won't work. You can only use screws, which will only complicate installation.
