Time will tell in the training and behavior materials
Seems to be working after I put in a different battery. The light came on when my neighbor's dog barked and the dog seemed to be upset about something. Didn't have enough time for the dog to study so I'll update later. I don't know why, but my first battery seemed to run out very quickly. Now I only turn it on when the dog is gone.
