Review on πŸ“· Sirui P-204SR Monopod from the P Series by Rafael Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Heavy but well made with great features

I've been eyeing this Sirui monopod for a while after hearing nothing but rave reviews. I set a price alert and finally found one at a price I could afford. I don't do a lot of videos, but I wanted something that would allow me to improve my B-roll and also shoot some kind of action (sports) video. I don't use a heavy rig - a Canon 70D, a Panasonic GX85 mirrorless camera and an older Panasonic camcorder. It might be a little overkill for most of these setups, but the Sirui's capabilities are fantastic, and with lighter setups it even works as a tripod indoors. My ONLY 2 disappointments are the size and weight. The tote bag is good, but it's also a bit big. It's not something you want to camp with or even travel with (unless you're traveling to shoot videos). Otherwise, the size and weight are decent for video-related excursions, and the features really make it worth it.

Cons
