I bought one for my 3rd series and after the first snowfall I was up for a shoot and it froze to the car. After defrosting, I noticed a lot of moisture under the lid. I thought the car might have been a bit damp when I put the cover on so I waited for the next storm to say so. The next storm comes and it rains. I go to the car 3 days after the rain, take off the cover and the car gets wet. It's like I would only have a dust cover. It does not protect against snow and rain as written.
