Review on 📷 AUTOKAY NEW Rear View Backup Camera for 2011-2015 FORD Explorer - Replaces EB5Z19G490A by Kevin Bucher

The camera is much cheaper than the stock Ford camera. Picture quality was good day and night, and we didn't mind the curved backup lines that didn't move when you turned the steering wheel. It was pretty easy to install. We were happy with that. The only problem we have is that after less than 4 months of use the camera started fogging up like moisture got in and the camera lens fogged up but it was impossible to clean it from the inside. It's like we're looking through a very thick fog and not seeing any detail when reversing, making the camera little better than the dead OEM camera it replaced. We found out that the guarantee is only 3 months. Maybe we were unlucky with this particular camera. I think we will replace it with another brand with a longer warranty. I wanted the 3 month warranty information to be available to other people as I haven't listed it and can't see it.
