Review on 📦 FIDECO 3.5/2.5-Inch Hard Drive Enclosure Case with Fan, USB 3.0 to SATA Adapter for HDD & SSD External Hard Drive - Supports 16TB with UASP by Chris Cooper

They say a picture is worth a thousand words but the picture I posted says only one word - B*** -! The mounting screws that came with the unit are so poorly made and of such poor quality steel that I tore off one of them in the hard drive's mounting hole when I turned it by hand. Now I'm stuck with a hard drive that can't use a specific mounting pattern in any other device because the screw head goes into a threaded hole. Single dose appears to be working with data transfer and speeds on the new drive are within spec. This scenario is without a word disappointing (not to mention the single word that has already been uttered multiple times while writing this review). I permanently damaged my hard drive and am now stuck with this external enclosure indefinitely. -If- the supplier cares about customer satisfaction, they can offer some form of compensation. I will update the review if or if this happens.
