I have a USB powered Antenna, I tried this one in it's place and got all the channels without having to move it around like I used to for 1 specific local channel. I could just leave this one in one spot and not mess with it, so that was real convenient since I have the antenna up high where I need to get on chair to move it. I attached a pic from the basketball game I was watching. All I did was plug this one in and rescan all the channels and everything worked great. No issues with picture and super clear. The cord is very long too, that is good so you can get it up high or near a window, or find the perfect spot to get the most channels. I would definitely buy another one of these, it is a fairly inexpensive one time purchase.
