Review on πŸ”¬ Extech CO210 Quality Carbon Dioxide Monitor: Accurate and Reliable Measurement by Josh Koa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great data logger but battery backup can be used.

This CO2 air quality data logger does a great job of displaying and recording temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. This can hold around 15,000 samples, so with a little math you can set it up for short-term or long-term recording. One drawback is the lack of a backup battery. Although it stores data without power, the clock drifts significantly when powered off. I was surprised that it only has one power supply. It should be noted that the adapter comes with inserts for the multi-socket configuration, so it is ready for international use. If you want to get average values or do other mathematical analysis, you have to do it in your own software. The included interface and display software does a good job of setting, controlling, extracting and displaying data. The data is saved in the usual delimited format, making importing it into other programs such as Excel or Logger Pro easy and convenient. is the average reading over that period. The device doesn't seem to be able to do this. For the price, it's a great job, and it's easy to overlook the minor flaws outlined above.

Pros
  • Carbon Dioxide (CO2) Test
Cons
  • So far so good
