American scale Postal scales are very practical for use at home or at work. It has a fairly small footprint but can weigh up to 55 pounds, which is great. You can simply weigh something heavier on the bathroom scale, then carry the heavy object and subtract the difference. But for small packages, this is a great scale. I like that it takes up little space on the table. It runs on 2 AA batteries or an AC adapter power cord. The power cord is long enough. You can open the platform and lean on the express envelope or poster tube and still weigh them. Screen angle is good. It can be adjusted by pressing buttons on the front to change the weight type or reset the scale if using something as a basket or bucket. Due to the small area, if the object or box is too big and blocks the screen area, you cannot see the screen. But there is a button on the side with which you can lock the weight so that you can see it after removing the goods to be weighed. And you can click it again to unlock it. Nice that it weighs in at 0.01 pounds. It's also nice that you can run them on batteries and move them around or take them with you. I can definitely recommend this scale. Ideal for small home use or work. It's lightweight and has a plastic body, but it's well made and looks good.
