A little background: I keep this by my bed at night, I also leave it plugged in and not battery powered. PROS: It's narrow, good airflow, mine is pretty quiet compared to other fans. No bright light disturbs you while working. It stayed on during a recent power outage. CONS: And that's a pretty big problem... it will randomly stop working in the middle of the night. Remember I said I'm keeping it on above? Apparently it doesn't matter. So I wake up (yes, I wake up), unplug the cord from the fan and plug it back in, and it runs for the rest of the night. This is a big annoyance.
