Almost useless for soldering and soldering devices
Only heated up 2-3 minutes after the process started. The only thing that got really hot was my finger - the trigger was too close to the hot element and I burned myself on more than one occasion. If it uses a cigarette lighter heat source, it must be rated for a BIC lighter, not one that requires lighter fluid. I returned it.
