The camera comes with everything you need. The initial setup requires you to use an Ethernet cable to connect the camera to the internet. Once set up, you can connect to Wi-Fi and set up the camera anywhere. I added an SD card and tested motion detection on it. Motion detection is a bit high so I had to lower it. There's no way to mark the boxes you want to see activity in, like some cameras allow, and that's fine. The system automatically records the movement and saves it to the SD card I have so I can view and view the actions taken. All in all, this is a great WiFi camera and you can't beat the price.
