tldr; The electronics are buggy and require troublesome actions, but the product itself is comfortable and perfectly warms the bed. My wife had an old heated mattress pad that no longer worked properly. We ordered this as it's the only one we can find in double length xl. Of the three ordered, all three initially work out of the box, but then eventually fail either in the middle of the night or just randomly during the day and become unusable until you unplug the unit and plug it back in. It's quite annoying and seems to be common since we couldn't get it without this annoying feature. Of the three, only one had a connector that clicked into place, but even that has an error. We have attempted to contact the manufacturer and their inbox for their line of heated mattress pads is full and we are unable to receive further messages and we have not been able to speak to the person in the department that we were looking for. Everyone else we speak to redirects us to a full inbox. It looks like it's just an issue that they don't care about and will continue to release their product. Faulty electronics aside, the mat is comfortable, the cord is well-placed to avoid being noticed, and it heats up like a champ. We decided to keep using it until another company comes up with a better product.
