Review on 🟠 Product Spotlight: ARB 72X10 Orange Bushranger X-Jack Kit – Ultimate Off-Road Recovery Solution by Josue Porter

Great off-road lift Usable but not perfect.

While not perfect, overall it's a good jack to carry around in your car every day and is convenient to use both on and off the road. Low pressure (up to 10psi) can be powered by exhaust gas pressure to re-raise the air compressor via the included valve stem. It's wide, which greatly reduces the headache of getting off the pavement, and has triangular metal tips on the bottom to keep the jack in place relative to the base. Pros: 1) It lifts really well and fairly quickly with the option to inflate the exhaust. 2) Its wide base allows you to lift the car off the pavement much better than any factory jack. 3) Its durable ballistic nylon case is green OD color. It has a large girth but is very flat. Storage isn't that easy - you'll know it's there - but given its flatness, it's not too bad either. 4) He climbs up. This is a great advantage, as it is often not possible to use a factory jack on raised (off-road) vehicles. However: 1) It's a (rather thick) rubberized plastic bottle. It MUST NOT come into contact with any sharp edges OR hot metal under the vehicle or it will fail - potentially spectacularly. 2) The intake cup is not put on the exhaust pipe on all cars. Vehicles with large tubes (especially flared or beveled ends) will not seal. For these you need to break out the air compressor. 3) Even with exhaust systems that fit the intake cup, you have to push it against the exhaust pipe just enough to hold the gasket - the gasket won't hold. myself. Constantly pushing the cap down the exhaust pipe with enough force to maintain a tight seal throughout the pump requires strength and can be exhausting for those of poor fitness. For these people, an alternative compressor valve stem is the best option. 4) The exhaust hose could be a little longer, even 2 or 3 feet would make it easier to use on the front wheels. 5) It's not as easy as advertised. On the other hand, however, it has a great one-way valve that fires instantly as soon as the bowl detaches from the exhaust pipe without losing any appreciable amount of air, allowing you to push and rest at intervals. 6) It's not very stable in a horizontal position, you _MUST_ be standing on a fairly flat surface or the jack will want to "drop" the car on the downhill side. 7) It can only lift about 4400 pounds and many SUVs exceed that. Be careful.
