Extremely hard steel - will not shear/round off
I have 3 CNC machines in use. So I FREQUENTLY use a 4mm allen key for installing/changing tools. I've tried so many different brands and over time I've either split them in two or rounded them up to the point where they're no longer good. THESE Vega hex bits will most likely break the screw before it dulls. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for! Very happy customer here and planning to buy many more in the future! **Update** - Since writing this review I have broken three of them in half. However, the hex part was never rounded or exposed, and the reason they broke was actually my fault. I am still 100% satisfied with these tools and would recommend them to any other brand I have come across. I just felt I needed to update the facts.
