Suitable for a cup of tea

I use them for various loose leaf teas. A typical cup of tea requires 2 grams of leaves and 6-8 ounces of water. A standard American coffee cup holds 8-12 ounces of water, so I typically use 3g. These work well for 2g. 3g also works well when dry, but once the water is absorbed they fully expand to the size of a 'teaball' so don't expect to use much more for larger cups of tea - the gold standard , but compared to everything I've had. 4 stars for that. First of all. It has holes. You'll probably get some particles in your cup. Even the right infuser teapot has tea, it mostly stays at the bottom of the after pouring Teapot. Compared to the cheap tea balls I've used recently (and not that cheap) I get a lot less. That's about what I expected and about like I made it in my teapot. You learn just not to drink to the last drop. Material. Easy to clean. Looks decent enough. Not too weak but can be damaged if you're not careful. The top part screws and screws a bit. One of these is it pretty loose and I'll have to double check, but the important part is that it's tight enough to stay on and the tee doesn't come through. Another brewer has a nice and tight lid. They aren't made perfectly. I use a tea scale and had to do a double take. I tare the scale and add tea to one and then switch to another as I also prepared a cup for my wife. The difference is 9 grams. They have a big sign that the quality control isn't 100% so I'm not surprised some people are having issues with theirs. Anyone -> remove the lid, add tea, put the lid on, place in a cup and pour hot water over it. . Easy easy. In combination with a kettle, a lot of cleaning time can be saved compared to a kettle. They clean up nice and easy after emptying the tea and removing any tea that may have gotten stuck in the holes - as with any brewer.
