I installed a new radio in a 2011 Ford Ranger XLT. There are two USB sockets on the back of the radio. One is for Carplay/Android radio, the other is for charging. Instead of two loose wires dangling from the underside of the dash, I installed it after finding it at Revain. I used a dremel and cut out a circle in the lower right corner of the middle stroke. plug fits. I then connected two USB cables to the Carplay port and charger on the back of the new radio and it worked. I set it up so that the bottom output is a Carplay connector and the top one is just a charging port. Clean look. It works great!
