Firstly I think the picture of another product from another manufacturer with this item is misleading. Of course the written description was what I got, but it wasn't what I expected. Since this is what I ordered I decided to keep and use it. It worked great for a while which is why I am giving the product 2 stars instead of 1, but as the eye is so thin it continues to wear out. to loosen and break thread. In addition, the eyelet is so thin that it keeps closing, so I can't even thread them with a needle threader. I kept trying to open it again and it really broke. I've never had a broken needle eye. Although I have a different needle, I'm going back to using a regular embroidery needle because it's not worth wasting 50% of my yarn.
