I bought the fan assembly that I need to build my own computer case. My goal was to keep the electronics at the desired operating temperature (more than doubling their life expectancy) while reducing the amount of dust that seems to be drawn into electronic components such as home theater and computer applications. Another issue that bothers me is the sheer amount of dog hair that my wonderful little King Charles Cavalier can deposit and eventually suck into the forced airflow of the cooling system. These vent grilles give my filtration system an attractive, professional look and thereby reduce the amount of dirt entering the cabinet.
