I do not pretend to be 100% objective, so I write as it is. I connected both devices according to the instructions, bypassing surge protectors into network sockets. There is a signal and everything works. WiFi from the main device (optical modem) confidently gives out over 50mb. The repeater in the far room is giving low speed. Conducted two tests in one day - no more than 4MB speed. There may be a speed limit on the optical modem on that port, something may be wrong with the wiring, but in any case there is a signal and it's disappointing that it is slow. I can’t dig into the details, because I live far from the people for whom I installed it.
