My tire size is 185/70 r14 and it is an Observe G3-Ice, which was manufactured in Malaysia. In spite of the fact that it has not snowed yet, the temperature has not risen above 2 degrees Celsius. They mentioned that this time of day is perfect for going for a run. I've been behind the wheel for the past five days. At speeds greater than 60 kilometers per hour, a low-level rumbling can be heard. After a calm and watchful ride of 600 kilometers, I observed today that at least two of the spikes on the front wheel are already missing. Additionally, the spikes themselves are not of the same variety (many of them have become flatter). We shall observe how well it performs on snow and ice as we wait for snowfall. I turned around and headed back to the shop where I had originally purchased it for studding. On a seasonal basis, each balloon released an average of 10-15 spikes into the air. As a direct consequence of this, my rubber now has 93 more spikes. A lot of factors contribute to such a big amount, including the need to replace old and bent spikes. As a consequence of this, once I accounted for the discount, the cost of the studding was $1,500, or $18 for each individual piece. The vendors were rather taken aback by the level of quality of the spikes, and they claim that this is the very first time that something of this nature has been noticed in relation to this rubber. Therefore, I am unable to speculate on the factors that led to this result. (Either the problem was caused by the manufacturer or it was just bad luck.
