If you're looking to upgrade the screen on your BMW this is a good option, you've got a screen size and some good gimmicks like a back cover for the camera. Here's what you need to know: 1. This is by no means an OEM product, it's basically an Android device running on your original BMW interface.2. The Android device takes almost 5 minutes to start after you turn on the car after parking for several hours3. If your car doesn't have Bluetooth, this is a great upgrade for you, but the microphone is really bad, so you need to find an external microphone to install.4. If your car has bluetooth then this can be a problem as using OEM bluetooth you will lose some functionality of the device but you will have a better hands-free interface for your calls. If you want to connect your iPhone via CarPlay, it must use a cable, otherwise you must use the device's Bluetooth, and if you have an OEM, it will be disabled.6. The previous/next buttons on the steering wheel will be disabled when connecting music from an Android.7 device. If you want to connect your iPhone wirelessly and use CarPlay, you need to buy a dongle. This is a very good option, but again it disables the previous/next buttons on the steering wheel. Again, I think this is a good upgrade for your BMW, but it's not as smooth as it should be.
