Relieves pain on long rides

This gel pad is great. I have a good bike seat, but I often ride 20-45 miles and after a certain number of miles it seemed like my butt started to hurt. I just thought it would be a small price to pay for my love of cycling. This gel seat seems to solve this problem. I say it "seems to solve" that pain just because the winters are cold and rainy here in the Pacific Northwest, so I've only been able to take one ride with a new gel seat, about 18 years total. miles but so far so good. If my results change during longer summer trips I will update my review. I was a little apprehensive when trying to put the gel seat cover on for the first time because it felt too small. I didn't pull too hard on the lid to avoid tearing it. But if you buy this case, note that it can be stretched quite a bit without breaking. I've found that this works best if I put on the back of the seat cover first, then stretch the thin front of the cover as needed to fit over the front edge of my seat. The case stays in place well and the velcro straps feel solid. I think it's a good buy for $22.
