I have or have had 5 of these devices + 3 16TB models. Overall, I have to admit that I'm happy with them, but I had a "bad" result. I put "bad" in quotes because the Synology software ejected it from the volume and said it needs to be replaced, even though the disk statistics listed it as healthy. When I called their support team, they told me that the drive had one of the indicators that the drive was about to fail. I couldn't risk my data. So I bought a 16TB to replace while waiting for the RMA. Was in use for about a year. All my other drives are doing fine so far. RMA said about 30 days to replace. Hope everything goes well.
