Review on 🚗 Chrysler OEM Antenna Base Assembly - Genuine Part 5064394AH by Chris Riley

Appears to be OEM quality and perfect for 2016 Ram 1500. Very easy installation with minimal tools required. Crescent wrench (with a rubber pad if you don't want to scratch the antenna mount) and a small head for the fender liner (I think 8mm). You'll need to remove a couple of screws holding your fender liner (the side closest to the door) to get to the underside of the antenna. I didn't have to remove the entire fender, just the first 3 bolts. After that, you need to pull the protection plate next to the floor mat and the door. It slides out without tools, just held in place by 4-5 plastic clips that won't break (I didn't). When the protective plate is removed, the connector end of the antenna becomes visible. Disconnect the plastic connector and pull the rubber grommet out of the side panel. Pass it through the hole you made in the fender, install the new antenna, feed the wire back and reconnect the wire. Slide the skid plate into place, close the fender liner, and you're good to go!
