This could be a great pot but I would not know since it arrived at my house full of some weird sticky substance It also had a sticker in the middle that seems impossible to remove so I'm just going to send it back UPDATE - called to send back - became a hassle. I washed the sticky stuff off, took the sticker off - which is a pain but only took a few minute s- be CAREFUL not to use medal to get it off because it WILL SCRATCH - that said - after washing it and getting the completely bizarre inane decision to put a tough sticker in the middle of a copper pot (insane) - it actually works very well. Not as good as the square one for the same price somehow, but this is a very fine copper pot and a great value.
