My EP trip saved!

I am a mother of 3 children. I've always hated pumps. All my babies have lip/tongue ties and BF has never surprised us. When I started pumping exclusively I wasn't sure it would last. Trying to sit chained to a wall with a newborn and two toddlers for 20-30 minutes eight times a day is just not practical. I've dreamed of Willow since I first saw it in an ad when my first child was born, but the price just isn't practical for me. The cost of this portable pump seemed reasonable to try. I tell you, it's worth it and more! For comparison with spectra I use 50/6 settings. With this pump I use 1-2 depending on how my chest feels and I love that I can have different settings on each side. The only time I felt like I lacked suction power was when the battery died. I can do 3-4 full sessions before the batteries start dying. In a typical session, I get 3 ounces on the left side and 1.5 ounces on the right. On the first pump in the morning I get 5 oz and 3 oz. I do think the suction power decreases after I hit the 5 ounce mark, but it's never enough to stop and empty. I love silicone flanges! I pump when I mum a lot and only licked once when I forgot I was pumping and lay down all the way. I rock in the car, at the picnic, everywhere. If I'm wearing the right shirt, no one will notice. Being able to pump while enjoying a summer picnic has been very important to my mental health. I currently pump more than my baby eats in a day and have 200 ounces of milk in the freezer. This comes from a previous supplier and that's enough!
