I've used several egg yolk separators in the past - mostly from the dollar store - and lost my favorite. The new ones just won't come off. I make a lot of French pasta and decided to invest in this yolk separator. This is really good for preventing the yolk from breaking; I was able to comfortably fit about 3 eggs (yolks) at a time. The long handle is great for use with large bowls. It was also easy to clean as the separator coils are elastic rather than rigid (they can move up and down if squeezed during washing/cleaning). I'm glad I invested in it.
