The bracket fits the remote well but it's difficult to turn the volume up or down and I usually have to move the bracket to turn the volume up use buttons directly to operate it. This made him looser and now he occasionally slips. After minimal use, the "ears" on the holder began to crack, as did the area near the hole where the strap attaches. The strap is no longer used as the spot where it was attached broke. The glow is very dim, not as expected. Overall, the one we use in the low-traffic room held up much better than the one we use for the living room TV. It's a good idea and worked well initially, but be aware that if you use it often, it won't last long.
