I bought this for my son to go on a retirement. I didn't want him to take one of the more expensive speakers I have because teenagers aren't careful and things tend to break, get lost or get stolen. This little speaker was the perfect price and had all the features you need. I'm pleasantly surprised at how good the sound quality is and how loud this little thing can be. The sound is clear with no static interference. The size and handle make it very portable, ideal for transporting from building to building or on the bus. The built-in battery is rechargeable, which also contributes to mobility. Charging is via a USB cable. I'm not 100% sure how long the battery will last as we never let it run completely dry. I know he used it for 8 hours for 2 days in a row and he still had the battery left. Pairing is easy and I had no trouble connecting to my phone or laptop. You just press the pairing button and wait for the connection. It has a TWS feature that lets you pair this speaker with a second Bluetooth-enabled TWS speaker, but we haven't tried that yet. It's cool that you can listen to FM stations on it. We tried it and the setup was decent. Of course, what my son likes best about this column is the backlight. They add dynamism to the party mood. I am very pleased with the functionality and portability of this speaker.
