This is a very smart and attractive bird toy. But for the price I would have expected better quality. The working mechanism reminds me of a spring-loaded ball starter in a pinball machine. If only the sound of the bell was just as pleasant for a split second. Unfortunately, the bell does not ring at all and does not ring. I'm not even sure if the sound it makes can be described as a 'click'. It just sounds like junk rattling in cheap plastic. This toy is said to be a bird version of the Ring the Bell carnival game. But with a bell that doesn't "ring" it's disappointing. Fortunately, budgies are much less critical. Nor are they the ones paying for it.
