Review on 🔌 Power Heated Foldable DEDC Towing Mirrors, Side View Mirrors for Chevy Silverado 1500 2500 3500 GMC Sierra 2003-2006 Pair by Luke Cotton

One month old and still happy

The factory mirrors on my 2005 Silverado were smashed at a car wash and now flap back in the wind. DEDC mirrors seemed like a reasonable replacement, but they weren't the most expensive. One factor I liked was that they were the hardest of the options. Hmm, heavy mirrors fit my pickup. I had the mirrors on the truck for about a month; they don't fall off, they don't rattle, and the individual mirrors stay where I need them. Plus, they just stick out and look like they belong. But a warning - it took my son and I two hours to install it. We both know how to use tools, although we've never removed a car's interior trim. A youtube video showed how to do it and it's not rocket science. It's good to have someone hold the loose plate while someone else unplugs the wires from the old mirror and then threads and connects the wires from the new mirror. Pay attention to which plug (there are two) goes into which socket. The little black spiral things are the door wire holders that replace the originals. The mirrors didn't come with instructions, which I find a disadvantage. This may not be a disadvantage, but the mirrors require force to extend and retract. that "it's so far away" so I'm going no further than reasonable. Pushing them takes more strength than I want to muster. The force required to extend and retract the mirrors may decrease over time.
