Didn't work for me

Overall a good idea but my door is 1/2" off the floor and the mounted magnetic head (not the plate) is 1/4" from the end of the door so the distance between Magnet and metal is 3/4 inch, not enough for the magnet to catch that block of metal to work. The magnet works when the distance is 1/8 inch or the magnet almost touches the metal which isn't really the door that low to the ground
