I bought this knife for my 33 year old son as a Christmas present. He used it right after opening as a test to see how spicy it was, he cut up a piece of meat which we chilled on the counter. I watched as a piece of meat found its way through the main rib. Cuts like butter with little effort. He was very impressed with the sharpness. He liked the comfortable grip and the finger hole on the handle. He was also enthusiastic about the processing. He said he feels good in the hand. He's not a chef but cooks a lot in the kitchen and said he can't wait to use it. The scabbard has a loop for attaching to a belt. The quality is lame (faux leather) but serves its purpose for storage. Not sure how long it will last if the knife is used a lot. The box it came in is impressive, it's sturdy and good for storing the knife when not in use. All in all a great purchase. Great knife/blade for the price. My son is very happy with it. Would buy again.
