Review on Trimmer Philips BT1216 Series 1000 by Agata Wydra ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just super, the product is made wonderfully, very satisfied.

Over the past year and a half, I've been making frequent use of the trimmer. In the time prior to that, there existed a Philips QG 3327. The old hedge trimmer served its purpose for over 4 years (the battery died). I use a trimmer twice a week in order to keep the stubble in check (5 mm). The charge is sufficient for around five sessions lasting ten to fifteen minutes each. despite the fact that there is no drop in charge. Since last year, the blades have not lost any of their sharpness. The trimmer makes very clean cuts. My experience with blades has been completely satisfactory. The trimmer has bearable levels of both vibration and noise. Doesn't irritate me. The fact that the trimmer can be charged using a power bank is one of the most significant advantages it possesses. You must be aware, however, that not all portable power sources offer low charge current (0.05A). The purpose of the indication is not entirely clear to me. It remains illuminated in green throughout the charging process but does not indicate when the charge is complete. When the indicator on the trimmer indicates that it is discharged, there will only be 20 to 30 seconds of charge left. That is to say, this indicator does not make any sense at all. There are also some inquiries regarding how to charge the trimmer. According to the instructions, the device needs to charge for a total of eight hours. In point of fact, the trimmer keeps working even after 12 hours have passed since it was last charged (pictured). The trimmer is excellent in most respects. You won't find a better deal anywhere else for the money.

Pros
  • blades that sharpen themselves, as well as a Micro USB port for charging.
Cons
  • useless charge/discharge indicator
