So I really wanted to love these cups. I ordered three sets. The first ones were too small (pictured) but I thought oh well I will keep them and get bigger ones so I did. Yes, they are light weight but it’s weird at first because I am used to ceramic cups. Then the other reviewers made comment that they couldn’t feel the temp of what’s inside the cup- good, in that I can walk to the other side of my house with a hot cup of tea with my hand wrapped around the glass (ones without handles) and not get burned - bad, you can’t feel the temp in the cup a) to know if it’s hot enough or needs to be hotter b) it’s really hot and you take a drink (which is what I did after putting in microwave to get hotter see a) and burn your mouth. Those are things we’ve learned over the years that are like a sixth sense. I also broke one the other night, no fault of the cup maker but they do break. Then lastly, I took the cup pictured out of my cupboard after being out of the dishwasher for a few days and was wondering damn, why is there water still in there? Well there is a tiny tiny pinhole in the bottom for ? That the water had gotten into somehow and now it’s "draining” on my counter slowly. All in all would I recommend to a friend, probably not. The company was very nice about giving me a "coupon code” for my third set when my scratch coupon codes that came with my first two orders didn’t really "scratch” off and were illegible.
