This product is decent but definitely not worth the price, I paid $26.89. However, I would say that it only costs around $12.99. The whip is said to be 6 feet long but the one I received is actually 6 feet 10 inches long with the handle. That being said, actual fiber optic cables are around 6ft 3in long, and few reach that length. Most are much shorter than 6 feet as fiber optic cables come in multiple lengths. I would not recommend this for children because it will hurt the user or others. Probably not the best idea for a party unless there is plenty of space. The whip itself is wrapped very tightly as it is packed in a small cardboard box. Mine hasn't loosened at all and stays in a tight curl. I don't know why they are sold so expensive, they are very cheaply made. In addition, the battery is not replaceable. Batteries of this type are very harmful to the environment. Because the battery is non-replaceable, most products end up in landfill. If the battery was replaceable or you could use rechargeable AAA or AA batteries it would make an incredible difference. In any case, the product will cost a little more. Finally, the charging cable is very short and the whip will flash red when charging and green when charging is complete. I am considering returning mine as it is not as described. And I felt like I paid too much.
