This is a Slow Juicer as stated in the product description. If you're unfamiliar with them, you should probably do some research before you buy. I have mine and I have used it several times to juice carrots and apples. The juicer works best with hard fruits and vegetables. It worked really well with carrots. Squeeze out all the juice, leaving dry pulp. I quickly realized that I had to peel the apples first. In this case, the apples will soften and quickly accumulate on the filter, which will not allow the juice to leak out. The apples will require you to clean the filter more often, and what also helps is not to clog the shot with apples, but to move more slowly. The machine itself is solid, very easy to maintain and makes a reliable impression.
