We bought this a few months ago to try juicing and have been very happy with it. It is easy to assemble and convenient to use. It's just as easy to disassemble and you can throw all the parts in the dishwasher. It was actually quieter than I expected, but you're turning solids into liquids - don't expect it to be quiet. This works great with everything we've added: cabbage, ginger, carrots, beetroot - it'll probably become a bike if you cut it into small enough pieces. I've read that more expensive twin screw juicers can squeeze out more juice. But the pulp comes out pretty dry - I don't know how much more juice you can get for 4 or 5 times the price. We were so impressed we bought another one for our daughter to take to her school.
