This is a well made and lightweight backpack. Great pockets inside. BUT the cross strap isn't long enough to wear over anything other than a thin t-shirt or tank top. It is not used as a sweater or fleece shoulder bag during the autumn hiking season. Maybe if you have xsmall/small. I have a medium/large t-shirt. The bottle holder on the side is too narrow and I couldn't put a thermos there. I could barely put a plastic bottle in and was afraid the cap would come off! Disappointed I can't use this hike but as I've already tried using it on a hike I'll be saving it to run to the store/go to work.
