I really hate writing bad reviews but this is just awful. They are cheaply made and very unstable. I would even call them dangerous. There is almost no ankle support and the sliding scale is terrible. I've tried these different ways; very tight, very loose, medium rise, oversized, undersized, my foot size. Nothing helped. In addition, they are very painful. Not only when standing/using, but also when putting on while sitting. Within minutes of putting them on, the soles of my feet hurt like I'd just finished a 12-hour shift of nurses in dollar slippers. I would have broken my ankle almost half a dozen times. Your ankles will bend at strange angles and you will fall. I contacted the company to return them and they offered to refund half my money and told me to keep the skates. Avoid them like the plague (huh)
