Oh man this thing is great! I ran Home Assistant in a virtual machine on an old Mac Mini. I spent a lot of time researching this device and got tons of recommendations as it is a tool that really helps to integrate many devices from different brands more effectively to increase the level of my home automation. Setting up a virtual machine through VirtualBox was a little tricky, but once I did that and installed ZHA in Home Assistant, I was ready to go.
