Like other people, I am trying to replace my 10 year old Foley frame. This one appears to be identical, but it is not. The one I just received (and am returning) is defective. As several other recent reviews have pointed out, wood does not pair well with metal. Apparently there have been quality control issues lately. What could be easier than inserting wood into metal with the right tension. Yes I could carve the wood to make it fit better but I expect the manufacturing process to take care of that. I can't use my old Foley frame with the new fabric because it's the wrong size.
