This is a very nice sill that I installed on a concrete slab for a door between my workshop and garage. I would have preferred the same threshold 1/8" taller and 1/4" wider, but that's not available. My door's sill opening is 31 inches, so I first cut a few inches from each end to get an exact fit (I used a radial handsaw, but a hacksaw will work too). For the installation I used the smallest diameter drill bit in stone. I need to drill holes to match the pre-drilled holes in the sleeper, deep enough for the spiral round head nails that come with the sleeper. I drove the plastic dowels into the holes I drilled the board then just nailed the sleeper in place, very sure I would add due to the spiral on the nails. The result was exactly what I had hoped for. The threshold is firmly attached to the plate and looks good.
