Review on US Art Supply Single Dipper Palette Cup with Large Mouth by Heather Shaw

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great mugs for studio or wilderness work

I have several of these palette mugs and use them with the usual suspects: linseed oil, turpentine; even water. The upper seals perfectly and I've never had any issues with leakage or evaporation. Mine went through this too... For example I dropped 3 of them (not on purpose) from about 5 feet (1.5m). , while full of liquid...no evidence of a leak, no visible damage. I've stretched the clamp to the point where I'm wondering if it's going to break...don't worry. The only thing I can say is that the promotional photo used on Revain shows it attached to the pallet. Unfortunately that wouldn't work for me because when I use a palette I'm swinging it all over the place. LAUGH OUT LOUD. But you may be a more relaxed artist than me. Verdict: They're well built, leak free, and do exactly what they're advertised to do. Update 07/22/2018: I have ordered two more and the quality is the same. as a first order.
