Bought when my dog had a bad eye infection which forced him to wear a cone for 3 weeks. The sound of the vet's sharp plastic cone banging against walls and doors made me very nervous, so I settled on this collar with leather-lined edges. Significantly reduce the noise level! Good enough quality that we'll keep it next time (fingers crossed we won't need it again!). 1 star deducted because the size didn't fit. We bought an M and had to return it for an S (for a 12 lb mini pinscher). Additionally, there is a HUGE sticker sewn into the leather lining that covers the back of the Velcro. It's a little unsightly... I took fabric scissors and cut them off. I'd rather see the back of the velcro than a giant sticker.
