The only difficult thing was figuring out where to install it. I wanted this place to look like part of the interior. I still haven't figured out exactly where, so it's temporarily double-sided taped to my dash. The connection was very easy and took 5 minutes. 3 wires, ground, constant and trigger. Calibrated right out of the box. I measured the voltage at various points with a multimeter. One on the battery, on the amp, and near my main unit. All were 14.4. The only downside I can think of is that it's a bit bright and overwhelms the dashboard lights.
