I needed to replace one of the original steel casters which broke and had ball bearings scattered all over the floor. Since everyone else was the same age, it seemed best to replace them all while I was at it. Installation was easy, less than five minutes per roll, except for the bottom ones, which are attached to balance cables and are under tension. I left them alone for now as they are not worth worrying about. I was concerned that these rolls were listed as 2" while the original ones were about 1 3/4". I think two inches is the channel size they are designed for. They are approximately 1 13/16 inches tall and easily fit into the ducts. The noise didn't bother me anyway, but the new reels are definitely a lot quieter, which I consider a bonus.
