Review on Redmond Earthpaste - Non-Fluoride Spearmint Toothpaste - Natural Formula - 4oz Tube by Monica Ross

I like toothpaste

I've been using Redmond unsweetened peppermint powder for a few months now. I generally can't stand regular toothpaste, and these days I generally hate any sweetened toothpaste. However, this pasta is good in both texture and taste. I feel like it gets into my gum line and between my teeth a little better than the powder. The powder seems to polish the surface of the teeth better so I did a quick brush with the powder this morning and it will probably become my new routine. One reviewer complained that the toothpaste slipped off the brush. An interesting problem. This toothpaste is quite thick but not as sticky as regular toothpaste. I also add water/wet the brush with regular toothpaste but have found that this is not necessary with this paste. The consistency from the tube is the same as normal toothpaste *after* adding water. It's not as "cloudy" or "clayy" as powder and I think most people would prefer that. But as I said, that's why I prefer to combine it with powder. The rinses are clean and the mouthfeel is great. I would also like to mention that my dental health (which used to be above average) has been excellent since using clay based dental products. (about 3 years old) Various hygienists have commented on this (usually not knowing what product I'm using). The tartar/tartar was significantly reduced. And between cleanings, a spot of decay, or what was considered a developing cavity, disappeared.

Cons
